The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Monday afternoon with shares of Travelers and Boeing delivering the stiffest headwinds for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA, -1.11% was most recently trading 234 points, or 0.8%, lower, as shares of Travelers TRV, -3.14% and Boeing BA, -2.99% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Travelers’s shares have declined $4.37 (2.8%) while those of Boeing have declined $3.23, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 50-point drag on the Dow. Goldman Sachs GS, -2.43%, JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.15%, and American Express AXP, -2.00% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
