Amgen Inc.’s shares are down $5.44, or 2.2%, while those of Merck are down $1.39 (1.8%), combining for a roughly 45-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Chevron CVX, 0.72%, Travelers TRV, 0.66%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, -4.07%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
