Shares of JPMorgan Chase and Cisco are retreating Monday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow DJIA, -0.49% was most recently trading 211 points lower (-0.5%), as shares of JPMorgan Chase JPM, -4.50% and Cisco CSCO, -2.16% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. JPMorgan Chase’s shares have dropped $8.53 (4.2%) while those of Cisco are off $1.11, or 2.3%, combining for an approximately 63-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Home Depot HD, -1.86%, McDonald’s MCD, -1.66%, and Travelers TRV, -1.87%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.57-point swing.
