Shares of Herc Holdings fell after the equipment-rental company reported fourth-quarter results below Wall Street analysts’ estimates.
The stock fell 8% to $142.50 in morning trading. Shares are down more than 7% over the past 12 months.
The company’s fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of $3.24 were below the $3.46 that analysts surveyed by FactSet expected.
Sales rose 6% to $831 million, but were below the $862.4 million that analysts expected.
