Nike’s shares have fallen $4.05 (3.2%) while those of Procter & Gamble have fallen $3.12 (2.0%), combining for a roughly 47-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Visa V, -1.40%, Microsoft MSFT, -0.95%, and Merck MRK, -0.63%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
