The Dow DJIA, -0.98% was most recently trading 207 points, or 0.6%, lower, as shares of Caterpillar CAT, -4.93% and Walgreens Boots WBA, -7.00% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Caterpillar’s shares are off $12.86, or 4.7%, while those of Walgreens Boots have fallen $0.97 (4.3%), combining for an approximately 91-point drag on the Dow. Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -2.15%, Home Depot HD, -1.93%, and Salesforce CRM, -2.39% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
