CalAmp on Monday reported a narrower loss in the fiscal first quarter, but revenue declined hit by its telematics products business.
Shares fall 3.6% to $1.06 in after-hours trading.
The software as a service company posted a net loss for the three-months ended May 31 of $4.0 million, or 11 cents a share, compared with a loss of $12.2 million, or 34 cents, for the same period a year earlier.
Revenue fell 10% to $70.9 million. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast revenue of $75.7 million.
The company’s software and subscription services revenue climbed 14% to $45.0 million, with telematics products revenue falling 3.1% to $25.9 million.
