The Dow DJIA, -0.20% was most recently trading 107 points lower (-0.3%), as shares of 3M MMM, -5.70% and Caterpillar CAT, -2.09% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. 3M’s shares are off $6.31 (5.9%) while those of Caterpillar are off $8.47 (3.0%), combining for a roughly 97-point drag on the Dow. Dow DOW, -1.51%, Salesforce CRM, -1.29%, and Merck MRK, -1.12% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
