Walmart announced on Friday that an apple juice recall due to potentially harmful levels of arsenic has been expanded.
Last month, the initial recall notice applied to nearly 10,000 cases of Walmart’s Great Value brand apple juice sold in six-packs of 8 ounce bottles. Now, according to the FDA link provided by Walmart, the recall has been expanded to include 133,500 cases of apple juice produced by Refresco Beverages US Inc. and sold under multiple brand names at a variety retailers including Aldi, Walgreens and BJs.
