Chevron’s shares have dropped $6.93 (3.9%) while those of Apple have declined $4.69 (3.6%), combining for an approximately 77-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are UnitedHealth UNH, -2.18%, Coca-Cola KO, -1.04%, and Amgen AMGN, -0.38%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
