The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Friday afternoon with shares of Walgreens Boots and Dow Inc. delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. Shares of Walgreens Boots WBA and Dow Inc. DOW are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA was most recently trading 39 points, or 0.1%, lower. Walgreens Boots’s shares have dropped $0.70 (1.8%) while those of Dow Inc. are down $0.90, or 1.7%, combining for an approximately 10-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walt Disney DIS , 3M MMM , and Procter & Gamble PG . A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.59-point swing.
