Walgreens Boots’s shares are down $1.74 (4.3%) while those of Verizon Communications Inc. have fallen $1.26, or 2.8%, combining for an approximately 20-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Nike NKE, -0.88%, Visa V, +0.34%, and Amgen Inc. AMGN, -0.35%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
