The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading down Thursday morning with shares of Home Depot and Walmart facing the biggest drops for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA, +2.83% was most recently trading 114 points (0.4%) lower, as shares of Home Depot HD, +0.82% and Walmart WMT, +0.85% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Home Depot’s shares have fallen $6.25 (2.2%) while those of Walmart are down $2.27, or 1.7%, combining for a roughly 56-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Apple AAPL, +3.36%, Salesforce CRM, +2.21%, and UnitedHealth UNH, +1.99%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
