Attraqt Group PLC said Thursday that its first-half pretax loss widened as it invested in AI and visual merchandising and encountered a challenging market backdrop.
The U.K. provider of software for online shopping said that its pretax loss was 2.2 million pounds ($2.4 million) compared with a loss of GBP1.8 million a year earlier.
Revenue was GBP12.2 million compared with GBP11.1 million a year earlier, driven by monetizing 2021 bookings.
The board said it is cognizant of the difficult external factors and it is prudently managing operating margin and discretionary investment to underpin its growth expectations.
The company also said Thursday that it has agreed to a GBP63.2 million cash offer by Aegean Bidco Ltd, a subsidiary of Crownpeak Holdings, LLC.
